Marketing/Business Intelligence Analyst


THE POSITION

Reporting to the Manager of Merchandise & Pricing, the Marketing/Business Intelligence Analyst will provide hands-on analysis and develop reporting, tools and dashboards for use by management at various levels within the organization. This position is located in Beloit WI and is open due to a promotion. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop professionally and advance within the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate Semi-Annual Marketing Customer Survey Analysis: drafting and mailing of survey, drawing, result analysis (with SPSS), final report development and presentation
  • Develop and maintain external market condition trends including population and household income trends and industry data
  • Utilization of Crystal Reports/Crystal Analysis to develop pricing and customer reports
  • Publication and analysis of month-end reporting including pricing, average recovery tools, sales and GP
  • Development and documentation of tools, dashboards, reports and trending measurements
  • Report and analytics training
  • Develop sales/GP trend, customer lifetime value and pricing/cost trend analysis for regional and executive use
  • Run ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests

KEYS TO THIS OPPORTUNITY

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 3+ years experience in marketing/business intelligence analysis. Customer survey development a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Finance, Math/Statistics or related field required
  • Expert use of Crystal Reports required, proficiency in SPSS highly preferred
  • Proven ability to run ad hoc analyses
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact effectively at all levels within an organization.
  • Experience in the Building Products Industry a plus
  • Emphasis on in-depth mathematical and statistical analysis
  • Experience using a report writer to design and create analytical reports
