  • Reviewed literature and interviewed managers to gauge depth of hiring problems; why they exist, what tactics are currently employed by companies, etc.
  • Developed ideas on recruiting improvement through qualitative interviews with salespeople, managers, and recruiters
  • Evaluation: worked to refine construct definitions and develop survey measures. Expect to collect data this spring. Analysis will include correlations and regression with interaction effects

  • Learned about the research process, specifically taking a fuzzy concept and converting it to an operational project
  • Conducted a semester project and presented in front of 30 professionals from 12 companies; project won Best-Project Award
  • Learned and practiced qualitative and quantitative research techniques and analysis (comfortable with Excel and SPSS for a variety of quantitative needs)
